All firms looking to carry out credit lending or financial services activities in the UK, must first be authorised by the FCA in order to carry out this activity. As a lending firm, you are required to submit a full authorisation application. Additionally, depending on the permissions applied for, lenders will be required to submit authorisations for those holding senior management roles to assess whether they are ‘fit and proper’ for the roles in which they will hold.
