At Cosegic, we’re transforming how financial firms navigate regulation, with smarter design, AI-driven insight, and automation that actually works for people.
We’re looking for a Lead Product Designer to shape the next generation of our platform, a rare opportunity to take full ownership of UX and design across a product that’s redefining an entire industry.
About Cosegic
Cosegic builds technology that helps regulated firms move faster with confidence. After years as one of the UK’s leading compliance consultancies, we now operate as a focused RegTech product team, combining deep regulatory expertise with automation, AI, and thoughtful design.
We’re a small, ambitious group working like a skunkworks inside a serious industry. We experiment quickly, challenge assumptions, and aim to redefine how financial firms interact with complex regulatory workflows.
The Role
We’re hiring a Lead Product Designer to take full ownership of design across our platform. You’ll improve what exists today and then drive the UX vision for the next generation of our AI-powered automation, risk intelligence, and benchmarking tools.
This is a high-impact role: you will be the central design voice, shaping the product end-to-end while working closely with product, engineering, and domain specialists. In six months, the product will evolve significantly, and your work will be a major reason why.
What You’ll Do
– Conduct a full UX assessment of the current portal and set a higher standard for clarity, consistency, and usability.
– Lead user research, gather insights directly, and translate them into well-reasoned design decisions.
– Redesign key user journeys, especially those involving onboarding, risk workflows, data interpretation, and automation.
– Develop new interfaces for AI-driven features, predictive insights, and benchmarking dashboards.
– Build and maintain our design system in Figma, ensuring a scalable and coherent visual language.
– Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs with speed and precision.
– Collaborate closely with engineering to ensure smooth, high-quality implementation.
– Represent design thinking across the team and help establish a strong product culture.
What You’ll Bring
– 4–7+ years’ experience designing SaaS or data-heavy B2B products.
– Strong capabilities in information design, interaction design, and workflow mapping.
– Expertise in Figma, design systems, prototyping, and iterative design methods.
– Ability to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and move at pace.
– Curiosity about AI-driven UX, automation, and the future of decision-support tools.
– A practical, resourceful mindset focused on delivering meaningful improvements quickly.
Why Join Cosegic
– High ownership: you’ll define and lead design across an evolving product.
– Visible impact: your work will ship quickly and reach users directly.
– A focused, collaborative team that values experimentation, autonomy, and ambition.
– Opportunity to shape the UX foundations of a platform that will change significantly over the next 6–12 months.
– Competitive salary, hybrid working, and a path to grow into a Head of Design role as the team expands.
Benefits and Perks
– 25 days annual leave
– Hybrid working from our London, Cannon Street office
– Ability to work from abroad (up to 21 working days per year)
– Private Medical Insurance and Health Cash Plan
– Unlimited one to one coaching with MoreHappi Coaching

About Us
Cosegic is one of the UK’s leading compliance consultancies, now investing heavily in a technology-led future. We are building an internal product and engineering organisation with full support from the board and C-suite – a skunkworks-style team inside a 22-year-old firm, focused on developing modern RegTech products that will define the next phase of the business.
We combine the stability of an established organisation with the autonomy, pace, and ambition of a startup.
The Role
We’re hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to help design, build, and scale the next generation of Cosegic’s compliance intelligence platform. This is a modern, cloud-native platform with its core foundations already built, giving you the opportunity to shape its architecture and drive its technical evolution as we scale.
You’ll work across the full stack, developing secure, performant APIs, crafting intuitive UIs, and optimizing deployments for global scalability. In addition, you’ll play a key role in data modelling and building features that transform complex regulatory data into actionable insights.
This is a hands-on engineering role with significant autonomy. You’ll collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Compliance teams to deliver user-centred solutions that meet the demands of regulated industries. Beyond coding, you’ll influence architectural decisions, champion best practices, and mentor other engineers as we scale.
What You’ll Do
– Design and build scalable, multi-tenant features using Next.js and TypeScript.
– Develop secure, performant APIs and server-side logic leveraging Bun and Drizzle ORM on PostgreSQL (Neon).
– Model and optimize complex compliance datasets for performance and scalability.
– Implement robust authentication and authorization flows with Better Auth, including multi-tenancy and RBAC.
– Create accessible, responsive UIs using Radix UI, shadcn/ui, and Tailwind CSS.
– Integrate event-driven workflows with Inngest and deliver transactional communications via Resend.
– Build data-driven dashboards and visualizations using tools like Recharts.
– Optimize deployments and performance on Vercel, ensuring global scalability and reliability.
– Contribute to architectural decisions, code quality, and platform evolution.
– Mentor engineers and champion best practices in testing, security, and developer experience.
What We’re Looking For
– Strong experience (6-10 years) in full-stack development with React/Next.js and TypeScript.
– Deep understanding of modern web architecture, including serverless and edge deployments.
– Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and ORMs (preferably Drizzle or similar).
– Experience with data modelling, performance optimization, and building data-driven features.
– Experience with authentication, authorization, and multi-tenant systems.
– Familiarity with event-driven workflows and cloud-native platforms (e.g., Inngest, Vercel, Neon).
– Ability to reason about scalability, security, and performance in distributed systems.
– Comfortable working cross-functionally in a product-led environment.
– Bonus: experience in compliance, fintech, or regulated industries and familiarity with Laravel, as there will be migration work from a legacy platform.
Why Join Us
– Work in a fully backed, high-autonomy engineering team building a modern, cloud-native platform.
– Shape the technology foundations of a company transitioning from consultancy to product-led delivery.
– Use cutting-edge tools and engineering practices to build impactful, user-centred products.
– Competitive salary up to £90k, with hybrid, London-based working.
Benefits and Perks
– 25 days annual leave
– Hybrid working from our London, Cannon Street office
– Ability to work from abroad (up to 21 working days per year)
