CSR: Working Together to make a difference
We take our responsibility to the wider community seriously and lead a range of initiatives to give back and create meaningful impact.
At Cosegic, we believe that CSR and culture are integral to our business and all of our employees. As a company, we have worked hard to develop an outstanding collaborative culture where all voices can be heard. CSR starts with our people and over the years we have worked to ensure a strong connection between all employees to help us continually advance and evaluate the company’s organisational and corporate culture.
Our internal Culture Committee champions the growth and evaluation of our organisational culture by fostering goals in diversity and inclusion, ensuring a thriving and inclusive environment for all. Our committee comes together every month and organises initiatives to fundraise for local charities as well as championing for the growth of a diverse and inclusive environment for all.
Below are details of some of our recent fundraising initiatives, as well as our volunteering work.
PRIDE 2025
During Pride Month (July 2025) we donated to akt, the national LGBTQ+ youth homelessness charity supporting young people aged 16-25 in the UK who are experiencing homelessness or living in a hostile environment. akt supports young people into safe homes and employment, education, or training, in a welcoming and open environment that celebrates LGBTQ+ identities.
One of our employees even completed a charity skydive!
Euston Foodbank
A number of Cosegic employees donned their finest aprons and got their hands dirty supporting Euston Foodbank in their mission to help local people in crisis. Our wonderful volunteers baked, cut, chopped, sliced, skinned, cooked, and mixed their way through the day, producing a variety of nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to the bank in crisis.
Euston Foodbank is part of a nationwide network of foodbanks, supported by The Trussell Trust, working to combat poverty and hunger across the UK. It was an eye-opening and humbling experience to see, first-hand, the dedication of the selfless staff who offer their time for nothing to support local people. It is through their hard work and the support of such charities, that security is provided to hundreds of vulnerable people by helping to ensure that they have a safe place to eat and can feed their families.
At Cosegic, we are dedicated to supporting our local community and giving back where we can and we will be returning to Euston Foodbank again as soon as we can.
Volunteer days
One of our recent Culture Committee initiatives saw us connect with the company volunteering platform Matchable, to allow employees to give back to the community, foster teamwork, and develop new skills. Following the introduction of the initiative, a policy was put in place to allow all Cosegic employees one volunteer day per annum where they can individually, or as part of a team, give back their time to support some well-deserving charities around the world.
